  Exercise  7

One hundred is multiplied by a number between 0 and 1. The answer has to be—

A less than 0.
B between 0 and 50 but not 25.
C between 0 and 100 but not 50.
D between 0 and 100.

Solution  7

We multiply one hundred by zero and get 0 -- 100*0 = 0
We multiply one hundred by one and get 100 -- 100*1 =1

So if One hundred is multiplied by a number between 0 and 1. The answer has to be
between 0 and 100.


  Exercise 8
John uses 2/3 of a cup of oats per serving to make oatmeal. How many cups of oats does he need to make 6 servings?
